Who we are

Dan Herring

Co-Founder of Virtus Ops

Dan is a systems guy & creative genius with a servant’s heart. With firsthand experience growing multiple businesses from the ground up.

A devoted husband to his beautiful wife Ashley, dad to four children, and retired Firefighter/Paramedic from SoCal; Dan brings a rare blend of real-world leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurial grit to every business he touches.

Although his Father was a successful entrepreneur, Dan decided to enter the blue collar work force first. 20 years working with his hands, Dan gets it.

He launched his first business and grew it from zero to over 50,000 followers in just a few months, all while working full-time in as a professional fireman. That business opened the doors to coaching, marketing, and consulting work, eventually leading him to teach content strategy inside a multiple 7-figure business.

Dan’s specialty? Bringing clarity to chaos. Backend systems, automations, content strategy, and building infrastructure that helps small business owners finally run like a business... without JB Weld or 16-hour days.

Whether he’s setting up a CRM, revamping a social strategy, or editing marketing content for paid ads, Dan knows how to take messy operations and turn them into scalable systems that actually generate profit.

Kara Bubolz

Co-Founder of Virtus Ops

Kara is the strategist and driving force behind Virtus Ops. A business consultant and sales expert, she’s helped scale service-based businesses into multi-6 and 7 figures by tightening backend operations, simplifying marketing, and boosting profit margins, fast.

A mom of five and small-town Wisconsin native, Kara was raised on hard work, resilience, and blue-collar grit.

Those roots shaped her belief that business should be built to last; done right, with honesty and integrity at its core.

She also knows the trades world firsthand. Her husband, Devin, is a U.S. Army veteran who comes from a long line of service and skilled trades, his mother & father served in the military and now work for OSHA & the Carpenter’s Union, while his brother is an electrician.

Devin himself has 12 years in construction and currently works as a superintendent, managing large-scale building projects and teams in the field.

That lived experience means Kara doesn’t just understand blue-collar business owners, she’s lived alongside one for years.

She’s seen the long hours, the hard work, and the pressure to keep things moving.

She’s built Virtus Ops to help business owners like that get out of the weeds, work smarter, and finally enjoy the reward their effort deserves.
